Pulse Medical now offers bulk billed telehealth services to everyone. You can now speak to your GP or connect via a video link to discuss your issues.
Pulse Medical is taking every step to minimise your exposure to infection during this pandemic. We know that patients who are well can be carriers of the covid-19 virus and unknowingly pass the infection to others. In order to minimise the spread of infection we are conducting most of our consultation via telehealth.
How does telehealth work?
We suggest you book your appointment in a usual manner, either online or by calling 07 3272 8543.
At your appointment time, you will get a call from your doctor or if appropriate, get link to connect via video platform with your GP.

What if you need to see a doctor face to face?
In the interest of infection control we ask all our patients to book a telehealth consultation first. If a face to face review is required your doctor will arrange you to be seen in the practice with adequate safety precautions.
Is there a charge for telehealth services?
During this pandemic Pulse Medical will bulk bill all telehealth services where patients are eligible for Medicare rebates. This means that our services will be at no cost to you.
What about essential care?
Not everything can be dealt with on the phone or video consultation.
Pulse Medical will continue to offer essential services such as:
- Childhood vaccinations
- Contraceptive injections
- Urgent skin cancer checks
- Overdue cervical screening
- Routine pregnancy care
We will still conduct a telehealth consultation first to ensure we understand your concerns and appropriately prepare our team for your visit.
